Prairie Fire wrestling wins fourth place match during Porter Duels (gallery)

Hosting the ninth annual Chuck Porter Duels, the Prairie Fire wrestling team competed against Wabash College, North Central College, Luther College, and Calumet College of St. Joseph Saturday, January 4 in the T. Fleming Fieldhouse.

Knox was defeated in the first three rounds of the duels, defeating Calumet in the fourth place match 34-17.

Freshman Matt Surprenant won two matches against North Central and Calumet, helping lead the Prairie Fire in points.

Casey Mendoza is a junior majoring in political science with a double minor in philosophy and Chinese. This is her third year working for TKS as a photographer and photo editor.
