Men’s soccer beats Illinois College, advances to conference finals (gallery)

Freshman Shu Kitamura raced down the Jorge Prats Field, avoiding opponents from Illinois College, to score the game-winning goal in the first Midwest Conference Tournament game. The Prairie Fire men’s soccer team won 1-0, earning them a place in the MWC finals against Carroll University Saturday, Nov. 7.

According to the Prairie Fire coverage, the winner of Saturday’s game earns a spot in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Casey Mendoza
Casey Mendoza is a junior majoring in political science with a double minor in philosophy and Chinese. This is her third year working for TKS as a photographer and photo editor.
